Programs and Services

The Corner Brook Status of Women Council offers a broad variety of programs and services for the community.  

Drop-in services include short-term non-therapeutic counselling, internet and basic business services, and a variety of free personal care and sexual health products.

VESTA Place

Vesta Place seeks to offer more than a roof over women's heads by providing supportive housing to its tenants in addition to the provision of an individual bedroom, a communal kitchen, den and washroom, and heat, electricity, laundry and phone facilities included in the $350/month rental fee.

Each tenant also has access to:

             - Support from HOUSE project Coordinator in developing an Individualized Action Plan that breaks down

                goals into manageable steps;

             - In-house programming;

             - Community resource referrals;

             - Housing search support
