The Corner Brook Status of Women Council, established in 1974, is a friendly, non-judgmental, non-threatening place that provides a variety of services to women. We believe all women are equal and deserve respect.

We host a variety of events to raise awareness about violence, injustice and inequality in hopes to build a better community.

 

We are always looking to help improve the quality of women's lives anyway we can by offering many direct services such as crisis intervention, self-help groups, job search support, low cost housing, and so much more.
